With summer here we’ve been going flat out cutting, grass has been wilting beautifully.
After a long winter and finally a break in the showers the fields have now firmed up and the herds out for the first time this year for there spring grazing.
Spent a few hours today cutting and splitting 5ft fence posts from Oak, close to 30 in total which is just enough to divide up one of the paddocks before we let the cows out next month. First time given its not as often done in the UK with preference being tantalised pine.
